Registration and Licensing
The Building Commission will register building occupations, plumbing occupations and specialist practitioners in the lead up to national licensing, which is scheduled to commence in 2013. Registration and licensing services include vetting applications and making recommendations to the relevant board or registration authority, ensuring compliance with the conditions of registration and licensing, and prosecuting people and firms operating without being appropriately licenced or registered.
