The Building Commission regularly holds industry information seminars regarding building codes and legislative requirements. Details of future seminars are provided below.
Building
Perth Metropolitan BCA 2013 Seminars
The Australian Building Codes Board will be conducting seminars on upcoming changes to the Building Code of Australia (BCA) for 2013. The BCA is Volume One and Volume Two of the National Construction Code Series.
The Seminars play an important role in raising practitioner awareness of the amendments scheduled for BCA 2013 and features a presentation by Standards Australia on changes to the referenced Australian Standards.

Regional BCA 2013 Seminars
The Building Commission will be conducting regional seminars throughout Western Australia on the amendements to the Building Code of Australia 2013 (BCA 2013) that will come into effect on 1 May 2013. These seminars will also cover the recent amendments to the Building Act 2011 and Building Regulations 2012.

Regional Building Policy and Legislation 2013 Information Seminars
The Building Commission will be conducting a series of regional information sessions for people who work in the building industry. Topics include: building approvals process, home indemnity insurance, complaints resolution process, builder compliance program, home building contracts act, registration and licensing, building policy updates, construction contracts act.
